Greetings! - This is a dragon cannon (called "Fire Drake") that I made for the LARP weapons contest at Wyrd Con 2010 (the preeminent LARP convention in Southern California) where it won first place for weapons design. I made the cannon from ABS pipe, body putty, and various wood, and metal parts. Each scale and detail was hand carved by me using Amazing Sculpt, a kind of epoxy clay.

I just wanted to let you know that I am extremely impressed and pleased with your Amazing Sculpt product! I prefer the natural color but I also love the white! Both are beautifully smooth, soft and easily mixed. They both have a wonderful fine grain (almost non existent) for the fine tiny details I love to add to my sculptures. I also find Amazing Sculpt superior for filling those dreaded pin holes, seam lines, and divots during the prepping phase.
I have Carpal tunnel and Cubital Tunnel Syndrome in both hands and arms, and for me, Amazing Sculpt is so easy to get out of the container and mix together...much, much easier than Apoxie Sculpt!
The smoothing capability is flawless compared to other similar clays of it's kind, and the amount of detail Amazing Sculpt will hold is excellent...and No Shrinkage to boot! I do suggest that a person new to Amazing Sculpt play with it and experiment with different temperatures to adjust the firmness needed for certain application. Cool it down or heat it a little to adjust the firmness and also, make sure to mix it up and then let it sit for five or ten minutes before you begin working with it.
Thank you for creating an exceptional sculpting medium, and sharing with the rest of us!

I have been using Epoxy compounds for several years now, and I have been customizing many Breyer and Artist resin horses. When I first tried Amazing Sculpt, I was first struck by how light it is. After the initial "break in" period of getting used to it; as it is like nothing else out there, I began to understand how incredible it is. Not only is it easy to mold and sculpt, but the true beauty comes after it dries. Amazing Sculpt is easy to sand and smooth, more so then anything else that I have ever used. It is so easy! It is amazing that something so strong can be so easy to shape. I am so pleased with it, and think that it may even revolutionize the way the model horse hobby customizes. Thiner manes, finer details, and way more user friendly. I am so pleased, that it makes me wonder how I used anything else. It seems truly suited for the model horse customizer.
